FOCAL ARIA 926
Focal Aria 926 floorstanding speakers, price for the pair. If you like the Focal Aria 926 but your room is smaller than 25m2, this is the solution that Focal gives you so that you can enjoy great sound quality. The Aria 926 is a three-way speaker, two 6.5 ”(16.5cm) woofers, 6.5” (16.5cm) midrange, but in this case enclosed in its own enclosure and all have in common the new material with which they are built, a sandwich of fiberglass and flax fibers. Flax fiber is a natural material that has been known since ancient times. The low elasticity and the high rigidity give it that special characteristic to the touch. But of course, that material by itself is very difficult to adapt to a speaker cone.
Focal has used a special technology for a long time to manufacture speaker cones with materials embedded in a sandwich structure, that is why it has decided to make a structure with two layers of fiberglass, which they already used before, and in between the flax fiber, which gives those peculiar characteristics to the sound.
To complete the sound spectrum they use an aluminum / magnesium tweeter with a very special peripheral suspension made of a sophisticated material called Poron. The sides of the enclosure are asymmetrical, to avoid internal resonances and the base of the enclosure is made of a solid piece of aluminum.
The enclosure has two reflex ports, one at the front and the other at the base of the speaker. This Focal Aria 926 loudspeaker has a high sensitivity, which will accommodate any amplifier. As a column box it is designed for large rooms, in this case it will work well in spaces up to 25m2 and should be placed about 40cm from the back wall.
